Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. By booking our services, you agree to the terms set out below for K Subbanna Iyer Brahmin Catering.

Cuisine & Scope

We exclusively serve pure vegetarian, Brahmin cuisine. Custom menus are curated per event and confirmed in writing.

Booking & Payments

A booking is confirmed only after the advance is received. GST is applicable as per law.

Food Safety

Prepared and handled under hygienic conditions. Allergen info available on request.

1. Definitions

  • "Company" means K Subbanna Iyer Brahmin Catering.
  • "Client" means the person/company making the booking.
  • "Event" means the function for which catering is booked.
  • "Proposal" means our written quotation/menu & service scope.

2. Services & Menu (Pure Vegetarian Brahmin Cuisine)

We specialize in traditional South Indian Brahmin cuisine. No eggs, meat, or fish are used. Menus are finalized in the Proposal. Seasonal availability may require equivalent substitutions of ingredients or dishes without compromising quality.

3. Booking, Advance & Payment Terms

  • Quotation Validity: Proposals are valid for 14 days.
  • Advance: A non-refundable advance of 30% is required to confirm the booking.
  • Balance: Payable 48 hours before the Event.
  • Taxes: Applicable GST will be charged as per prevailing law.
  • Payment Modes: UPI / Bank transfer / Cheque.

4. Guest Count & Changes

  • Final Pax: Guaranteed guest count is due 5 days prior to the Event.
  • Increases may be accommodated subject to availability and revised charges.
  • Decreases after this may not reduce the invoice value.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Client Cancellation: Advance is non-refundable. Cancellation within 5 days may incur up to 70% charges.
  • Rescheduling: Allowed subject to availability and price revisions.
  • Company Cancellation: Refund issued if cancelled by us (except Force Majeure).

6. Venue, Utilities & Access

Client ensures timely access, adequate water, power, and permissions. Venue-related charges or approvals are the Client's responsibility.

7. Hygiene, Allergens & Food Safety

  • We follow strict hygiene and safe handling practices.
  • Allergens: Some dishes may contain dairy, nuts, or gluten. Client must inform us of allergies.
  • Once food is served/handed over, storage and consumption are the Client's responsibility.

8. Leftovers & Takeaway

Leftovers may be handed over at the Client's request. After handover, storage and consumption are at Client's own risk.

9. Staff, Conduct & Damages

Client must ensure a safe environment for staff. Abuse or unsafe conditions may lead to service withdrawal without refund. Damages to our equipment caused by guests/third parties are chargeable.

10. Pricing Revisions

Prices are based on market conditions. Extraordinary changes in costs or taxes may lead to price revisions with prior notice.

11. Use of Photos & Testimonials

With consent, we may use food setup photos and testimonials for marketing. Consent can be withdrawn in writing.

12. Intellectual Property

Menus, recipes, and content are our intellectual property. No reproduction without written permission.

13. Privacy

Client data is used only for managing bookings. We never sell personal information. See our Privacy Policy.

14. Liability & Indemnity

Liability is limited to fees paid for the Event. Client indemnifies the Company against claims from guest conduct or venue issues.

15. Force Majeure

We are not liable for events beyond our control (natural disasters, strikes, lockdowns, epidemics, etc.). We'll attempt to reschedule subject to costs and availability.

16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Jurisdiction lies with Tamil Nadu courts. Parties must attempt amicable resolution before litigation.
